1. What size should my screen display be?
All our screens are set for a minimum size of 1,024 x 768 pixels. If your screen is less than this, then you will probably need to use the scroll bars. If greater then it really doesn't matter. If your height is 768 or less, then its probably best to use full screen rather than a window.
2. I'm being asked if I want to download an add-on. Is this safe?
Yes. This is perfectly safe. In fact its essential to viewing streaming videos, that you have this extra add-on to media player. Your computer knows that you don't have it loaded and is asking for it. It comes from Microsoft and you must accept all instructions to download this add-on before you can see the videos.
3. I've clicked on a link but my video keeps on running. Where is it?
We have many links to other pages such as Contact Us, Copyright Info, Our own main web site and various sponsors' sites that open in a new window. Consequently the video playing window is still open and playing. You can always pause the video first, but when finished simply close the new window in the normal way, or close the appropriate tab, and you will find the original window which was sitting underneath.
4. Can I temporarily pause my video?
Most certainly you can. While viewing the video you should see the media player controls just underneath. Here you will find "Pause" and "Stop" together with a bar showing the progress of the video and also a volume control for the sound.
5. Can I enlarge the video?
You don't have total freedom to enlarge the video screen but if you do a single click on the picture to activate the controls and then click with the right button, you will probably get a small menu. Take the option "Zoom" and then "Full Screen". To return from full screen to the original page hit the "Escape" key.
6. When I ask for a video, why is there a pause before it starts showing?
These videos are very big files to give you as good a picture as you can safely get over the Internet. If we waited for the whole file to download first there would be a very long wait. Instead you only have to wait for a small amount to download and then it starts playing, hence the pause. If you have a good Internet connection then the video should play through to the end, however connection speeds can vary and if you can't download data sufficiently fast, then it may occasionally pause to catch up again.
7. Can I watch these videos over a dial-up connection?
Sorry, but afraid not. There is just no way that a dial-up connection could download data fast enough for viewing live. However the answer is to click on the link to purchase as a DVD. This will take you to our main web site to the appropriate page whereby, with your credit card and the help of Pay Pal you can order the video on DVD to be posted to you.
8. Can I download a video to my own computer?
Sorry, but this is not possible. However you can visit our main web site as mentioned above and purchase the video on DVD
9. I use a MAC and things aren't working as they should. What should I do?
Our files are for Windows Media. To play them on a MAC you need to download a special tool which is free. Click here to go straight to the download page.
